A. PURPOSE OF ROLE:The Software Development Team Lead role will be tasked to lead and manage a software engineering team in an agile development environment and share our passion and great pride in leading a team that strongly believes in design and build high-quality next generation enterprise software.The roles of Software Development Team Lead will require strong understanding of the software design and architecture within our business-oriented enterprise software universe. This role needs to foster a positive environment where the team can create and deliver features using the appropriate technologies within defined scope and committed deadlines. As part of the roles, the Software Development Team Lead need to be confident in leading people and engaging stakeholder to ensure smooth project delivery with quality assured.B. OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:

- Serve the team by participating in, and guiding, the design, development, and implementation of standards that result in highly available, scalable & reliable solution experience for our customer.
- Drive technical best practices while utilizing the latest industry trends and technologies
- Utilize people management skills to coach, train and mentor individual team members

C. KEY CHALLENGES OF ROLE:

- Develop good understanding of B2BE systems, products, and its relationship both on latest and legacy platform.
- Study and develop strong knowledge on both technical and functionality of business system and solution in our industry.
- Develop innovative solution from ideas with commercial requirements in mind.
- Able to simplify complex ideas, overcome blockers and propose viable solutions.
- Manage multiple streams of works as and when requires.
- Work in a start-up environment that require strong adaptation to change.

A. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

- Lead and manage project delivery.
- Collaborate with business and project stakeholder to transform opportunities into sustainable technical reality with a clear return on investment.
- Drive the project requirement workshop with focus group to translate high level business requirements into user stories, clarify acceptance, criteria using agreed SDLC framework,
- Plan and orgniase project resource and delivery timeline, set work priorities, identify risks and issue and resolve any roadblocks with development teams
- Communicates regularly with business and project stakeholder to reviews the gaps of actual development versus the requirements.
- Coordinate closely with designer and infrastructure teams to ensure well translated work instructions and requirements is delivered and communicated.
- Collaborate with QA and helps to ensure the product quality are met the defines requirements.
- Project Management.
- Develop detail project plan including integration requirement and deployment phase as and when is require.
- Monitor and manage the project progression to ensure the deliverables and timeline are met.
- Coordinate closely with all relevant parties especially the project stakeholder to ensure any additional requirement is reviewed and included from time to time throughout the project progression.
- Measure team performance metrics including efficiency, velocity, capacity and defect density.
- Team building and coaching.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team member to raise their quality standard and job competency,
- Adopt and implement good practice in entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to improve productivity and efficiency,
- Identify and groom highly potential member to be future successor and leader,
- Involve in team recruitment and restructure as and when is required.
- Miscellaneous
- Take initiative to propose and drive new technology adoption to upgrade our product solution that aligned with our business direction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, quality and reusability standards.
