(Sr.) PRODUCTION OPERATOR
The Sr.Production Operatoris responsible fordaily operation (process production), ensuring health and safety codes are followed, training workers in the responsible use of machinery, identifying problems in the production line, troubleshooting equipment, and completing various administrative tasks, independent thinker and keen problem-solver, able to diagnose problems, train staff, and provide effective recommendations.This function will be reporting to production supervisor, andproduction managerwho is based in dsm-firmenich Karawang.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilizes leadership to promote safety and quality awareness, besides customer orientation environment.
Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
Ensure risk assessments are conducted for all routine activities and SOPs aligned with these risk assessments are in place and refreshed at regular intervals.
Work with production supervisor, and production manager to continuously identify risk and improvement opportunities by conducting frequent audits and improving SOPs.
diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training, analyzing all facets of production, and making recommendations for improvement.
Monitor production activities to ensure that safety and regulatory procedures and practices are followed. Keep good housekeeping in the working area.
Ensure all SAP data entry, batch sheets, spreadsheets, etc. are promptly and accuracy maintained.
Assist and train team members in the procedures required to perform their jobs. Coordinate cross training activities when possible.
Utilizes leadership to promote safety and quality awareness, besides customer orientation environment.
Ensure timely and effective resolution/report closure of HSE and quality incidents/non-conformances.
Support to production supervisor anda production manager in specific tasks result from new projects.

You bring:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or MS degree in Chemistry, Food Science or Supply-Chain Management from an accredited university required.
A minimum of 5 years manufacturing management experience within the food, beverage, pharma, chemical or allied products industries.
Direct management of cost control responsibilities in manufacturing environment.
Experience in implementation of continuous improvement and/or lean methodologies is preferred.
Experience in measuring key performance metrics, and inmotivating and holding people accountable for results.
Previous change management experienc e/ability to operate as a value-added business partner with other key stakeholders to drive change is also a plus.
Excellent communication and team building skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands.
Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team.
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
