As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas. You will be responsible for overseeing the stewarding team, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tableware. **Job Descriptions**:
- **_Supervise Stewarding Team_**: Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team, ensuring they understand their duties and responsibilities in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- **_Dishwashing and Tableware Management_**: Oversee the proper washing, sanitizing, and storage of kitchen equipment, tableware, glassware, and utensils to maintain a continuous supply for the culinary team and dining service.
- **_Kitchen Equipment Maintenance_**: Ensure the proper handling and cleaning of kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers, to prolong their lifespan and maintain their functionality.
- **_Cleaning and Sanitation_**: Monitor and enforce strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen and service areas, complying with health department regulations and best practices
- **_Waste Management_**: Oversee the proper disposal of waste and ensure recycling initiatives are implemented wherever possible to minimize the environmental impact.
- **_Stock Management_**: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment needed for the stewarding department, ensuring adequate stock levels at all time
- **_Safety Compliance_**: Ensure that the stewarding team follows safety guidelines, including the safe handling of chemicals, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety protocols.
- **_Collaboration with Other Departments_**: Work closely with the culinary team, service staff, and management to ensure seamless operations and a hygienic dining environment.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Steward Supervisor or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
