TERMS- The project is scheduled to start in **February 2023** and will run for approximately **7+ months** until at least the end of August 2023 (with the option to extend).- Contract type**:fixed-term employment** or **freelance project**:- **60 hours/week**:- Home leaves: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks offRESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure that all structural steel works are executed following the project drawings, documents and specifications consistent with applicable procedures and practices.- Liaison with all other discipline supervisors in the construction area- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned supervisors of contractors- Maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records, ensuring that contractors' management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures, all required competent personnel, protective equipment, adequate supervision and staffing, with reliable, well-maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule targets- Ensure that structural/building contractors adhere strictly to the latest approved or construction project drawings, specifications, procedures and site instructions- Routine study check and review of all contractors' scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions, ensuring contractors' proper interpretations and compliance with the latest revision of drawings and specifications- Ensure that contractors' activities are carried out following the approved contractors' quality plan- Ensure leadership and guidance that civil contracted works under his control meet all practical commercial requirements of productivity, quality and contract targets- Ensure that all assigned personnel are instructed in and comply with all the aspects of the HSE policy, site security, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures and instructions andclient requirements- Ensure that safe working practices relating to civil works are adhered to by close liaison with the Safety Officer and inform him of proposed work areas and activities following the applicable rules- Oberservate of contractors' dimensional control methods for checking and ensuring that all works are correctly set out- Supervise specialized surveying contractors- Monitor daily progress within the area of assignment and record quantities installed.- Initiate immediately corrective measurements in cooperation with the field in areas of foreseeable delays- Check the monthly progress reported by the contractors and inform Time Controlling.- Update drawings and specifications to reflect "as-built."- Monitor material deliveries and anticipates requirements.- Record of daily workforce and reporting if workforce levels affect the working program- Discuss the time schedules for the civil and structural steelwork based on the construction schedule with the contractors before the start of the activities- Discuss and initiate in cooperation with the structural steelwork contractors the assignment of construction personnel- Prepare work orders for extra work.- Initiate the preparation of purchase order amendments where necessary and submit the information required to the Site Manager- Inform Cost Controlling as to the expected cost development and proposes in cooperation with the Site Manager's corrective measurements in case of foreseeable overruns- Provide Cost Controlling the necessary documentation for change notifications/orders in case of changes to the contract requested by the Client- Participate in meetings on-site with the Client- Participate in meetings on-site with the relevant authorities and prepares the minutes of meetings- Initiate and directs weekly meetings with structural steelwork suppliers and prepare the relevant minutes of meetings- Supervise the quantity checking- Coordinate interfaces with other construction work- Follow-up punch lists of acceptance and hand-over protocols- Ensure proper control of changes by issuing field instructions for all changes and reviewing advance revision notices before giving them to contractors to ensure the correct use of construction resources
