Trinseo is looking for a:
Describe the purpose of this job and why it exists
- The position of this job is to perform an optimized production scheduling and all raw materials replenishment planning & procurement order operation for owned Latex manufacturing facility at Merak Indonesia to realize domestic & ex-Merak customer orders fulfillment, and meet assigned the target from business, Supply Chain.
**Responsibilities**:
Key Job Responsibilities would included
- Conduct day-to-day production scheduling following monthly S&OP balance decision, monitoring the daily out-put to ensure local & ex-Merak customer orders fulfillment.
- Develop raw materials and monomers (SM/BD) replenishment plans, processing PR / PO transition to internal & external vendors. Track material on time / in full delivery and escalate supply risk.
- Control Merak inventory level / Slow moving items to achieve working capital target.
- Take initiative and work closely with cross functions to realize Merak demand & supply optimization.
And implement improvement projects to contribute on supply chain cost reduction.
- The planner represents the supply chain function on the area sales and site operation team meeting on a monthly / Quarterly basis. As a member of this cross functional team, the planner is accountable for taking actions specific to supply & demand balance, service costs that contribute to the overall profitability of the business
Qualifications:
Qualification
- Minimum education is a Bachelor degree, in a chemical industry / Chemical Engineering / Supply chain management / Logistics or computational skills (e.g. Mathematics and certain Sciences) is preferred
- 3 years plus equivalent working experience of supply chain, production & materials planning / logistics or chemical production background to be nice
- Fluent oral and written in English
- SAP / ERP system background, proficient in Microsoft office and computer skills
- Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and problem solving skill
