**About The Role**
As a System Engineer - Networking in the Tokopedia Infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining networking solutions. Your responsibilities will include working on both on-premise and cloud data center environments, ensuring the highest levels of reliability, security, and performance for Tokopedia network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for maintaining business partner connections to both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring seamless and secure communication with external stakeholders.
**What You Will Do**
- Assist in the design and maintenance of on-prem data centers and cloud networking infrastructure.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Implement and manage virtual networks, subnets, and security groups within cloud environments.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with data centers and cloud service providers to configure and optimize network services.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud resources.
- Implement network security measures and follow best practices for network hardening.
- Provide support for network-related issues and incidents, both on-premises and in the cloud.
**What You Will Need**
- 1-3 years of experience in network engineering and administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
- Experience with network equipment from various vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.), cloud platforms and their networking services (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts, network scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Cloud Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Understanding of network security principles, best practices and familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
