We are currently seeking a Tax Accountant with the purpose of managing the Firm's tax reporting & compliance function for all tax requirements under the laws and regulations. The details of the tasks are as follows:
**Main tasks**:
- Prepare and issue all tax invoices (VAT out) to clients.
- Maintain and monitor monthly value-added tax (VAT) in E-faktur system and reconcile with related balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile and equalize tax compliance records related to:
- Withholding tax (Art 23,26,4(2)), VAT in/out and Corporate Income Tax
- Co-ordinate with Accounting team on Revenue, Expenses, WHT and VAT reconciliations.
- Follow up on required supporting documents for VAT and WHT compliance records, including the review.
- Ensure all tax month end processes are actioned on a timely basis (tax reporting and tax payment).
- Provide any supporting analysis required in connection with tax accounting.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of tax policies and processes are in place.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all financial transactions.
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum GPA of 3.00 from a reputable university. A bachelor's degree in accounting is a must, as is Tax Brevet Certification with mínimal Tax Brevet A.
- Minimum work experience of three years in tax accounting.
- A good knowledge of VAT and WHT regulations, including tax risk, implications and 0% VAT on exported services.
- Experience in VAT auditing would be a distinct advantage.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to work independently while also being a team player.
