- Onto our tenth year as a start-up, now operating in Asia and Latin America, our aspirations don't stop there as our model has the ability to transform how goods moved in any city worldwide. Currently, we are looking for a high-caliber individual to join as Tax Assistant Manager, based in Jakarta, Indonesia as we continue to expand our presence and capabilities across SEA.

In this role, you will interact with the country and HQ teams to implement financial accounting and operational support to ensure smooth running of all lines of business. This means you will not only ensure reporting standards are implemented, you will also provide strategic guidance by identifying opportunities to add value to the business through cost optimization, margin improvement and tax strategies.

**What you will do**:

- ** Financial operations**: Assist Finance Manager to oversee daily financial operations by optimizing driver, client and vendor payments and collections. Drafting and/or updating of company SOPs. Tracking of postpaid client collection and review.
- ** Budgeting**: Assist Finance Manager on budgeting process with country director and provide deviation analysis to maintain budget controls. Assist in spending tracking in accordance with budget allocated.
- ** Financial Accounting**: Responsible for the month-end closing activities and preparation of monthly analysis. Preparation of periodical management report for review.
- ** Statutory compliance**: Assisting with the compliance of all statutory compliance tasks including external audit, tax filing and etc.
- ** Tax management**: Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as manage tax provision and tax compliance process. Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests. Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- ** Team development**: Equip team with necessary knowledge and tools to achieve goals.
- ** Ad-hoc tasks**:Other financial tasks as assigned by Finance Manager.

**What you will need**:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 6 years of operational/leadership experience, preferably in a logistics/e-commerce fulfilment environment
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Supervisor/Manager (experienced from the same industry or from Public Accounting Firm will be preferred)
- Understand the Taxation System (E-Faktur, E-Billing, E-Filling, E-SPT, PPH 21, PPH 23, PPH 4(2), PPH 25, PPh 26 and VAT.
- Experienced of working with Excel and Google Workspace
- Positive & open-minded, result-oriented with strong business acumen
- Good command of both written and spoken English
