**Role Description**
This is a full-time remote role for a Trade Finance Manager (Financial Institution). As a Trade Finance and Intermediary Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the organization of trade finance products such as letters of credit (LC), interbank financing, and supply chain finance on behalf of client banks. Your role will involve serving as a liaison between financing banks and client banks, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of trade finance transactions.
**Responsibilities**:
**Product Expertise**:Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit (LC), interbank financing, and supply chain finance, to effectively advise client banks on suitable financing solutions.
**Communication**:Acting as the primary point of contact between financing banks and client banks, maintaining open lines of communication to facilitate the negotiation and structuring of trade finance agreements.
**Legal Understanding**:Proficiently analyzing and interpreting legal agreements related to credit lines and trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
**Banking Processes**:Possessing in-depth knowledge of banking processes and procedures, particularly those related to trade finance operations, to streamline transaction execution and mitigate operational risks.
**Relationship Management**:Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including client banks, financing banks, and regulatory authorities, to foster trust and collaboration in the execution of trade finance transactions.
**Risk Management**:Assessing and mitigating risks associated with trade finance transactions, including credit risk, counterparty risk, and legal risk, through thorough due diligence and risk analysis.
**Process Optimization**:Continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in organizing trade finance products for client banks.
**Training and Support**:Providing guidance and support to client banks on trade finance processes, regulatory requirements, and best practices, to ensure their understanding and compliance with trade finance agreements.
**Strategic Alignment**:Collaborating with internal teams to align trade finance initiatives with the overall strategic objectives and risk appetite of the organization, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans for trade finance operations.
