Transaction Manager (ASEAN)
**Job Description Summary**

The Transaction Manager role is responsible for the end-to-end management of Lease Events and providing Strategic Leasing Advice. This role will work closely with client/s and Leasing Executive/s to ensure the best possible transactions outcomes are achieved whilst supporting the operations of the Integrated Portfolio Management - Transaction Management service line for Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of the client.

This role may be geographically based or co-located within a Portfolio Services Centre managing transactions for one or multiple client portfolios.

**About The Role**:

- Receive or request instructions to source new site from the client
- Prepare requirement specifications
- Engage with Integrated Workplace Solutions when relevant
- Seek initial instructions from the client (12-24mths in advance - relevant to asset type)
- Ensure successful lease re-negotiation to provide value and savings for the client
- Liaise with the client to confirm vacate date
- Inform relevant C&W team/s of site vacate date
- Ensure a cost-effective exit is completed in a timely manner
- Ensure site is returned according to lease requirements
- Portfolio Strategy: meet with the client to understand clients' objectives, procure C&W specialists to provide input on best practice and manage the timeline, execution, and deliverables of the client approved strategy
- Project Strategy: manage the end-to-end deliverables of a client-initiated project including clear understanding of client needs and project requirements, liaise with specialists to provide best practice inputs and document project strategy for client endorsement prior to execution
- As required provide reporting on leasehold and freehold expenditure against the premises allocated budget and provide appropriate support to C&W Finance team for monthly reporting
- Prepare high quality, clear, succinct, and timely recommendations, and approvals for client endorsement
- Develop effective relationships and ensure all Lease Transaction matters are addressed in a timely manner and coordinate communication between landlord and other C&W team members
- Manage client escalations in a timely manner and constantly strive to improve delivery of services and value-add to the client portfolio
- Ensure 100% delivery of client KPI's and SLA's - Represent Cushman & Wakefield professionally, accurately, and consistently. Attend regular team, partner, and stakeholder meetings with "Service Excellence' always in mind
- Manages appropriate workload and priority setting for team members
- Ensures the team/s ability to provide the appropriate focus to deliver the best financial and compliance outcomes to the client.
- Supervises and leads team members with a focus on engagement and high performance by ensuring individual goal setting, development plans and career conversations are in place and updated regularly
- Liaise with client account directors to gain feedback on Transaction Management team members performance at regular times throughout the year
- Ensure that everyone under your leadership has role clarity, the team is operating at optimal capacity and any HR issues are managed in a timely and professional manner

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in real estate or a business-related discipline preferred
- Experience in transactional leasing and commercial real estate property management
- Proven experience in property leasing/transaction management; working with major landlords
- Strong commercial real estate industry related experience
- Experience in managing a geographically diverse portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, lasting professional relationships
- Proven experience in strategic portfolio management
