HSBC Wholesale Banking serves businesses ranging from medium to large multinational corporation, providing clients with a full range of banking services including Global Trade and Receivables, Global Liquidity and Cash Management, as well as Global Markets.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Wholesale Business Management team in the role of **Vice President Product Manager**
**Principal Responsibilities**:
- GPS Product Manager covers mainly Liquidity Solution and Corporate Card
- Develop and enhance range of GPS Products to meet cash management needs of the banks' wholesale customers
- For assigned product suites, generate product ideas for existing and new products, screen and prioritize product ideas, coordinate market research, development project, conduct market roll out and product commercialization activities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plan to increase product penetration, usage and revenue for assigned products
- Manage assigned product profitability, costing, margin and pricing decision
- Track and benchmark service quality and drive internal processes to ensure smooth product delivery
- Ensuring that assigned product suites comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures
- Manage product operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
- Improve HSBC's profile, market share and share in mind in the market vis a vis the competition
Qualifications
**Requirements**:
- Hold a minimum of Bachelor degree, with over 10 years working experiences in banking/financial services with exposure to Corporate/Commercial Banking segment.
- GPS / Transaction Banking Product Management experience will be an advantage
- Experience in dealing with technology platforms
- Programme Delivery/Process improvement.
- Experienced project/programme manager with relationship management skills and/or industry product specialist.
- High level of business acumen and commercial awareness, together with a sound knowledge of the full range of transaction banking products commerce and/or ecommerce.
- High level oral and written communication skills and presentation skills including public speaking.
- Complex and analytical reasoning.
- Technical and Computer skills.
