Our Client develops an integrated end-to-end agri-platform, creating a win-win-win for people, planet and profit. With a mission to improve the livelihood of Indonesia's smallholders, they want to unlock the value of sustainability of palm oil products.
They provide a digital platform that connects the supply chain stakeholders within the palm oil industry (i.e. Palm Oil Mills, Agents, Smallholders, and Agri Input vendors).
As VP Finance, you will work closely with the Founder.
**Responsibilities**:
- Championing the financial strategy in harmony with our mission to revolutionize palm oil industry
- Integrate financial foresight with our commitment to positive environmental and social impacts
- Spearhead capital initiatives that resonate with our holistic values.
- Oversee financial operations ensuring they mirror our dedication to transparency and trust
- Advocate for financial practices that prioritize stakeholder and community well-being
- Lead in identifying financial risks, always considering the broader implications on society
- Cultivate a finance team passionate about driving change in global agriculture
- Communicate our financial journey, making our stakeholders part of our story
- Seek innovative cost-saving measures that also promote sustainability and community enrichment
**Key Requirements**:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of leadership in roles and prior experience in agritech or palm oil or similar industries with a cause-oriented vision
- Bachelor's Degree is a must - an MBA or equivalent, infused with a passion for social and environmental change would be a plus
- CPA or other credentials would be preferred
- Eager to travel, learn, and spread the seed of sustainable agritech innovations
