The Custodian Bank Account Manager is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients in entering the capital markets from a securities settlements and assets safekeeping and servicing perspective., as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions. The overall objective of this role is to act as the eyes and ears of the investors in the market, so that they know what needs to be done with regards to the safekeeping and servicing of their assets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for client profitability, day-to-day service and client satisfaction
- Perform regular client reviews to gauge overall client satisfaction and coordinate responses to client concerns
- Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services and partner with support groups and client to ensure Citi is a top 3 provider
- Drive organic growth through identification and execution of cross-selling opportunities
- Lead strong governance and controls
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
- Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience of equity financing (both cash and synthetic) required
- Comprehensive cross-product knowledge covering equities, fixed income, foreign exchanges and swaps
- Comprehensive knowledge of the risk and control environment impacting Citi
- Proven self-motivation and organizational skills
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
