Waitress/Waiter
Job Overview:
The waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring the dining area is clean and welcoming. The role requires a blend of efficiency, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanor to create a positive experience for patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Customer Service**:
- Greet and seat customers promptly.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Assist guests with making menu choices in an informative and helpful fashion.
- **Order Taking and Serving**:
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are filled correctly and in a timely manner.
- Deliver food and beverages to the table promptly.
- **Dining Area Maintenance**:
- Check on guests periodically to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining.
- Set up dining areas before meals and ensure the restaurant is clean and organized at all times.
- **Payment Processing**:
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
- Accept payments, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- **Additional Duties**:
- Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
- Assist in the opening and closing duties of the restaurant, such as preparing condiments, restocking items, and closing out the POS system.
- Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up server station, and taking out trash.
Pay: Rp2,000,000 - Rp3,000,000 per month
**Education**:
- SMA/SMU/SMK (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Restaurant/Banquet Server: 1 year (preferred)
