**What can you expect?**
As the Warehouse Assistant Manager for Finished Goods, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring seamless distribution and fulfillment processes. Your role will involve setting up and driving efficient workflows, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to meet the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and support the company's long-term business goals. You will also oversee inventory management, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
**Responsibilities**:
**We will count on you to**:
- Lead and oversee finished goods warehouse and logistic operation to ensure orderly and timely execution of operational activities
- Oversees strategic distribution planning, transportation model, route optimization to ensure successful delivery and better efficiency
- Lead implementation of best practice logistics strategy, guidelines, processes and procedures/SOP to improve operational performance
- Set, establish, implement and evaluate warehouse performance/KPIs and lead initiatives for improvement
- Manage and coordinate communication actively with customer service, sales, logistics vendor to handle order inquiries as well as issues
- Work closely with DC partner to optimize inventory level to meet customer requirements
- Accountable for stock count activities, stock accuracy, and ensure execution of FEFO & FIFO
- Drive space utilization through effective stock rotation, stacking and storage principals
- Oversee and review workflows, layout, equipment to meet company standards for productivity and quality
- Manage effective budget planning of manpower and warehouse cost
- Build, coach, and develop functional team's capabilities and emphasize planning skills and problem solving
- Provide and implement safe work environment adhering health, safety and environment procedures
Qualifications:
**What you need to have?**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse & logistics operations within a food manufacturing environment
- Have minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience in supply planning and warehouse software packages (SAP and WMS)
- Experience in people management and customer management
