To support operational processes of weather modification technology
**Job Description**:
- Conduct research and analysis of weather data to support weather modification activities
- Collaborate with operational teams to plan and execute cloud seeding flight missions
- Operate and interpret the results of weather and climate predictions
- Using GIS software and weather data processing software for data analysis and visualization
- Prepare scientific and technical reports related to weather modification activities
- Participate in professional development related to weather modification and meteorology
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Climatology, Atmospheric Physics, or related field.
- Experienced in the field of TMC (Traffic Management Center).
- Experience with weather prediction tools and models such as WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting), GFS (Global Forecast System), or other weather prediction models.
- Ability to utilize data from satellites, radar, and other weather observation tools for weather prediction and analysis.
- Proficiency in using GIS software (Geographic Information System) such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Ability to process and analyze weather data using data processing software such as Python, MATLAB, or R.
- Skills in weather data visualization and thematic map creation.
- Prepared to participate in cloud seeding flight missions, including fieldwork in diverse weather conditions.
- Good physical health and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Project management skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
