Wordpress Developer Intern

**Job Overview**:**Responsibilities**:- Work with the development team to:- Produce new user-facing features in Wordpress environment- Build reusable code and libraries both in backend and frontend- Deliver functional - testable code on or before due dates- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders utilizing Agile methodologies**Skills and Requirements**:- Demonstrable knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and MySQL- Demonstrable knowledge in CSS Grid, Flexbox and Web components- Demonstrable knowledge in clean PHP8 object oriented coding standards- Proficient understanding of accessibility in WordPress themes and page design- Knowledge of Front-End Testing and Tooling- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and REST APIs, AJAX and GraphQL- A strong understanding of WordPress APIs, theme hierarchy and custom Gutenberg block development- Demonstrate knowledge in modern team and project management tools such as Jira and Slack- Demonstrate understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, SVN- Good documentation skills are a plus
