Gear Inc is seeking a Human Resource Counselor working closely with various stakeholders to provide assessment, intervention and consultation to address emotional / behavioral needs and difficulties of employees.
Monitoring recruitment metrics such as retention rates and staff turnover.
Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff.
Researching and recommending performance evaluation methods (e.g.
employee appraisal systems).
Supporting the HR manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary.
Assisting in organizing employer branding initiatives.
Acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members.
Coaching employees in performance management procedures.
Reviewing HR policies and practices.
Conducting employee relations training.
Advising management on all areas of a business's "people" function, such as performance evaluation, disciplinary procedures, recruitment and rewards & benefits schemes.
A Master's degree organizational psychology, human resources, business administration, or a related field such as labor relations.
Minimum 2 years prior experience either as proven work experience as an HR Advisor, HR Consultant or similar role.
Have Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring (CCM) is a plus.
Possesses Core Competency skill in performing psychological assessments, psychological therapy for individuals and groups.
Broad knowledge of Learning & Development and Employee relations.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience in design, implement and manage wellness programs for groups as well as individuals.
Possesses genuine listening skills and can provide short-term clinical interventions such as CBT, motivational Interviewing, crisis intervention, solution-focused techniques and positive psychology.
MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) competency.
