**Assistant Food & Beverage Manager**
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager provides support and assistance to the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations. The Assistant Manager works closely with the F&B Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences, maintain high standards of service, and optimize revenue opportunities. They play a vital role in coordinating and supervising the various food and beverage outlets within the hotel, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining. The Assistant F&B Manager assists in implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures, training and developing the team, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
**Qualifications**
- Experience: 7- 9 years of progressive experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in luxury hotels, upscale restaurants, or similar establishments, is required. Experience in a management role is advantageous.
- Food and Beverage Knowledge: A strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu planning, wine and beverage selection, and industry trends, is essential. Knowledge of international cuisines and cultural dining customs is also beneficial.
- Leadership and Management Skills: The Assistant F&B Manager should possess strong leadership abilities and the capacity to effectively manage a diverse team. This includes the ability to delegate tasks, motivate staff, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Guest Service Orientation: Exceptional guest service skills and a genuine passion for providing memorable dining experiences are vital. The Assistant F&B Manager should have the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations, handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally, and consistently deliver high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization, is important. The Assistant F&B Manager should be able to analyze financial reports, identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth, and effectively manage budgets.
