**About this role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated **Business Support Team Leader **to join our Australasian Business Support Leadership Group. As the BSTL you will have an impact across a geography and provide leadership to a defined team of administrators. You will drive consistency, continuous improvement and oversee resourcing requirements to ensure your team can provide high-quality support. You will influence key stakeholders to understand where your team can make the greatest impact and ensure the most important tasks and activities are prioritised. With access to a regional community of BSTL's, you will collaborate with and learn from other likeminded people.

**What will I do?**
- Monitor requests and ensure they are prioritised and completed in a timely manner.
- Advocacy and point of contact for issues arising out of business support.
- Ensure adequate administrative support is provided to the Group leadership team in the geography.
- Look for opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiencies and leverage technology to improve the business support offering overall.
- Mentor, coach and empower high performance in the Team to ensure the processes are followed and upheld and the key objectives are met.

**What will I bring?**
- Significant relevant industry experience in administration. Likely to have achieved a relevant tertiary qualification in business, projects or similar.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Arup processes, guidelines and job instructions, knowledge of nuances and loopholes. In-depth knowledge of a specialised area of choice (e.g. commercial, CRM, documents, travel, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Arup systems, wide experience training others. Encourages colleagues to make better use of the systems.
- Experienced in troubleshooting or escalate system issues to relevant parties. As well as producing reports from systems, identifying, and taking action to correct errors.
- Knows how to navigate across the Region and influences by making a positive impact on others, facilitating collaborative outcomes and getting the best out of people

- Can you give an example of a time when you had to create a psychologically safe environment for your team? What steps did you take to build trust and ensure team members felt comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas? How did this impact the team's performance and outcomes?
