**Job Description** Catering & Conference Services (CCS) - Sales Executive**

Be an ambassador for our exceptional offerings as Catering and Conference Services Executive, where you will liaise between multiple departments to meet the needs - and exceed the expectations - of your clients.

What you will be doing:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Confirm all event related information with clients.
- Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers.
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients - prior to, during and post conference - encouraging repeat business.
- Organize convention bookings from date of booking to departure, including meeting requirements, guest room requirements, guest room pick-up, food and beverage and audio-visual requirements.
- Create floor plans for each event to ensure banquets and clients are in agreement prior to set up.
- Conduct pre-conference meetings with clients and pertinent departments to confirm all relevant details are communicated.
- Conduct daily meetings to review event contracts and ensure last minute changes are communicated with appropriate departments.
**Qualifications**
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous Sales experience is required, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and other operating system
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Good presentation and influencing skills
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
