Who you are?
Responsible for managing and developing sales of Alfa Laval products and services by developing business channels (including wholesalers, distributors, vertical market representative, agents, integrators, system builders & service partners).
About The Job
Reporting to the Regional Distribution Sales Manager, South East Asia, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales of Alfa Laval products and services through the Energy Division's distributor network in Indonesia.
Key tasks:
- Formulate, implement and update the sales plan for distributors
- Update and implement business channels agreements for appointed distributors, together with your manager
- Analyze the motivation, the buying behavior and the function of Distributors way to the markets in order to support them to grow the sales
- Identify key factors to grow the sales at each distributor and to motivate them to prioritize Alfa Laval product sales
- Visit and train distributors and make sure they have the right and relevant tools to achieve sales targets
- Provides oversight to the collection and reporting of distributor statistics, ensures efficient processes are in place to be easy to do business with
- Manage the end to end business activities for the distribution business, including their business volumes, inventories & financials
- Gather market intelligence, gap analysis and provide inputs for development of long term business plans together with your manager
What you know?
- Engineering/Technical educational background
- Minimum 5 years' experience of channel sales experience, in equipment and components, preferably in the light manufacturing and machinery OEM industries, HVAC with a demonstrated track record of over-achievement
- Proven ability to develop and initiate strategies for revenue and client count growth as well as expense control.
- Strong sales oriented personality with good communication skills and good networking skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage difficult or sensitive situations eg potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through adherence to channel rules of engagement
- Able to interpret and analyze numerical data and information
