**Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI)**
Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) is managed by Tetra Tech on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia's development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years. Australia Awards addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia's development; and the need for a strong deep relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.
**Key responsibilities**
- Create compelling and inclusive content for various communication channels, including e-newsletters, website updates, social media posts, press releases, etc.
- Maintain communication platforms and ensure accuracy and consistency of information across all channels
- Prepare the purchase orders and processing of payments for external communications vendors
- Collaborate with the Data team to compile and cleanse data of alumni who have participated in the Communications events, ensuring accurate and updated information in the AAI database
- Monitor communication activities and analyse their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as necessary
**Selection criteria**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies in a professional setting
- Experience in the international development sector or working with government agencies is preferred but not required
- An understanding of the Australian Higher Education Sector
- Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform communication decisions
- Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English
