Your 'day to day' - Research, evaluate, and develop PMI Enterprise Data Platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges.
- Handle production support issues as they arise (problem solving, debugging).
- Work in one or more cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, proof of concepts and implementing data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing, and visualizing large sets leveraging PMI Enterprise Data Platform.
- Extend and improve our internal frameworks, develop guidelines, and best practices.
- Perform technology and product research to better define requirements, resolve important issues and improve overall capability of PMI Enterprise Data Platform.
- Handle production support issues as they arise (problem solving, debugging).
- Communicate with various teams, keeping everyone up to date on deployments, outages, issues, and solutions.
Who we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar - Knowledge and 5+ years of proven experience working with SQL programming (advance), building ETL processes (batch and streaming) - Experience with data warehouse concepts, best practise, and implementation - Problem solving skills - Quick learning of new technologies - Experience in cloud technology (GCP or AWS) is mandatory - Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and define data engineering strategy - Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other Data Engineers for best practices - As assets: - Code versioning (GIT/SVN) - Microsoft Power BI knowledge - Experience Apache Airflow - Python What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
