Data Migration Engineer

Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process

Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan

Work across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data migration

Develop best practice, processes, and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities

Manage version locks and import tools

Schedule roll outs that affect the live game

Monitor design and code changes

To liaise with our clients to ascertain what specific data they require to have transferred, customising it to their needs

Identification of, or creation of, cost-effective tools that may automate data migration

**Experience with Software Development tools**: Toad, Golden, SQL Loader, T-SQL, and/or Import/Export tools, Syniti

Bachelor degree in an Engineering, Science, Information system, Finance and Management or related field discipline

Strong project management and organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing completion of tasks by non-direct reports

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent communication skills working with people of various levels and units in the company

Experience working in a matrix organization with teams that may be virtual in nature

Flexibility working in a dynamic environment
