**Job Description**:
**Director of Talent & Culture**
The Director of Talent & Culture encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to managing the human capital within an organization. The person is responsible for the development & formulation of policies, procedures and practices to support the operational needs of the Hotel.
The Director of Talent and Culture supervises and provides consultation to the management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations. The person is also expected to take leadership role in developing a culture that supports the hotel's strategic goals. S/he will lead performance management, talent assessment, and effective labor relationships, including negotiating and administering labor agreements.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

What you will be doing:
- ** Strategic HR Leadership. **Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the organization's overall business goals. Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring that they support and contribute to the company's objectives.
- ** Talent Acquisition and Management**. Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent. Develop and manage talent management programs, including onboarding, training, and career development.
- ** Employee Relations**. Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- ** Compensation and Benefits. **Manage and oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits packages. Monitor industry trends and adjust compensation and benefits strategies as necessary.
- ** HR Compliance**. Ensure the organization complies with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that are in compliance with legal requirements.
- ** Organizational Development**. Work on organizational development and change management initiatives. Implement strategies for fostering a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
- ** Performance Management**. Establish and maintain performance management systems, including performance appraisals and goal-setting. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance evaluation and feedback.
- ** Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)**. Lead DEI initiatives and programs, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Monitor and report on DEI progress and areas for improvement.
- ** Employee Wellness and Safety**. Promote employee health and well-being by overseeing wellness programs and safety measures. Develop and implement workplace safety policies and procedures.
- ** Budget Management**. Manage the HR budget, including cost control, resource allocation, and financial planning.
- ** Reporting and Analytics**. Generate HR-related reports and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
**Qualifications**:
Your experience and skills include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Management experience.
- A strong understanding of labor and employment law.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer contact skills.
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
- A team player & builder.
- A motivator & self-starter. Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
