With a reputation for excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of HR & Finance to join our growing team.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
The General Manager Marketing develops and is responsible for implementing the communications and/or events strategy of one or more shows/events.
With the assistance of his/her teams, he/she is responsible for:
managing all of the shows communications, on and offline, to all targeted audiences (exhibitors, visitors, press, institutions and partners)
managing positive exposure for the events he/she is in charge of
improving national and international traffic, in both qualitative and quantitative terms, of the show/event he/she is in charge of
He/she coordinates the development of his/her staff and promotes a working environment conducive to collective performance in line with the groups HR strategy.
He/she coordinates cross-functional assignments in his/her area of responsibility within his/her division and/or the group.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Strategy and Development Responsibilities
Using the Business Plan, developing and proposing a communications and promotional strategy (including digital) for visitors and/or events, for the event(s) he/she is in charge of, including objectives to be met and resources to use
Developing communications plans (for exhibitors and visitors) in collaboration, if applicable, with a communications agency
Identifying, setting up and coordinating networks (lobbying, etc.)
for professional relations in collaboration with the Other Director
Responsible for the shows digital strategy (website, network coordination, apps, etc.)
and its implementation (web content, etc.)
in liaison with the divisions Digital Marketing Manager
Coordinating Operations
**Communications and visual identity for shows**: agency briefs and visual identity selections in collaboration with the Marketing team, in agreement with the Other Director and in line with the groups comprehensive strategy
**Publishing**: responsible for all the online and offline documents published for the show (exhibitors, visitors and press, both national and international)
**Visitor promotions and management of the visitor database**: direct marketing plan, digital marketing, pre-registration management, management of visitors entering the sit in collaboration with Logistics, managing the network of international agents for the arrival of foreign visitors (Promosalons)
Managing ticketing and the related promotional strategy
**Media plan**: Validating and managing the implementation of media/nonmedia plans (tools and content), purchasing and partnerships, etc.
**Press relations**: briefs and selection of press/web agencies and organization of press actions in China and abroad, in line with (and in collaboration with, if applicable) the Corporate Communications Department
**Events**: Proposing and managing event-relation actions
In collaboration with Logistics, proposing and participating in the development of common areas (reception, lounges, VIP clubs, etc.)
**Contributing to the show debriefing**: drafting communications report, analysis of quantitative and qualitative results, recommendations for improvements
Managing and optimizing the budget (via partnerships, sponsoring, etc.)
within the defined framework
Management
Organizing and distributing the workload among the teams
Making recommendations to the Show Director regarding staffing needs
Coordinating the development of his/her staff and companies (if applicable)
Implementing the HR strategy in his/her department and providing the right level of managerial communication to guarantee a positive working environment in the group
Coordinating cross-functional working groups
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications
7-9 plus years' professional marketing experience.
The experience in the events/show industry will be a plus.
Marketing team management experience.
PR relation resources will be a plus
Familiar with Digital Marketing with resources will be a plus
Excellent English skills (oral and written), French will be a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
