We are now seeking a position as a **Government Relation Manager** who will handle the following key responsibilities as below:
- Develop and execute comprehensive government relations strategies to advance the interests of mining exploration business.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key government officials including from MEMR, MoEF, BKPM and other relevant departments.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization and provide analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and other forums with government officials and policymakers.
- Lead advocacy efforts to influence legislation, regulations, and public policies in alignment with the organization's priorities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including legal, communications, and business development teams, to support government relations initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with lobbying disclosure requirements and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage government relations budgets and resources effectively.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans to address legislative or regulatory challenges.
- Collaborate with industry associations, coalitions, and other external partners to advance shared policy objectives. Responsible to Suistainability & External Affair's
We expect prospective talents to meet the requirements as below:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Communication, Social Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive 10+ years of related work experience in related position as management or top management layer in mining business are require..
- Proven track record of successfully managing government relationships, influencing policy outcomes, managing relationships with government officials, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
- Mastering the political landscape, including legislative processes, regulatory frameworks, and key decision-makers, is essential.
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of adjusting strategies and tactics in response to evolving circumstances and priorities.
- Problem solvers, able to analyze issues, develop creative solutions, and navigate competing interests to achieve desired outcomes.
- Capable of fostering a culture of cooperation and alignment across departments.
