Industrial Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Collect data and documents related to product design needs.
- Design and create conceptual design models, both 2D and 3D
- Conduct benchmark studies on related products
- Carry out visual testing and analysis of the model related to functional, aesthetic and ergonomic factors
- Innovate units or products


JOB REQUIREMENT

- Bachelor of Product Design (S1)
- Have the enthusiasm to learn new things and have interest in conducting trials and research
- Have good analytical thinking skills, and be able to coordinate and communicate within a team
- Able to make traditional (freehand) and digital sketches
- Able to use 2D software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as 3D software such as Blender and Solidworks
- Have experience in making mock ups and rapid prototypes
- Have knowledge and passion in the automotive, heavy equipment and ship sectorsa
