This role will be based in Jakarta and will be pivotal for a large underground mining project.
- Lead discipline engineering activities to support studies and detailed design for supply and construction
- Provide input into capital estimates and project schedules
- Provide key discipline input to multi-discipline project teams
- Participate in formal engineering review processes
- Provision of on-site construction and commissioning technical support
- Mentor other engineers to develop their engineering and project delivery skills.
**You bring to the role**:
- A degree in engineering, demonstrated experience and CPEng status (or the experience necessary to attain this)
- Excellent attitude towards safety and a demonstrated ability to comply with the safety requirements
- Demonstrated design and engineering experience in the mining and metals sector (esp. nickel, alumina or other base metals).
- Experience in the investigation, planning and supervision of construction works and/or maintenance activities in operational facilities
- Have current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to instrumentation and control systems engineering ensuring compliance of design work with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level
