1.Government Relations (Important Requirement in this position):
Critical Requirement - Have experience in building pro-active professional relationships with (Kementerian Perhubungan Angkutan Udara) relevant government officials, authorities and other industry stakeholders, The important departments are Ministry Of Transport, Director-General Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry Of Tourism and Creative technology, Airport authorities and Airport management companies.
Monitor and report on Indonesia's travel/aviation, aero-political, economic and commercial developments in the country, recommending actions which are consistent with company objectives.
Ensure regulatory compliance for all operations, This is particularly important in the area of regulatory requirements for commercial airlines operating in Indonesia.
Have experience in flight approval and filing processes for commercial airlines, as flight approval submission and slot requests are part of the day to day activities.
2.Public Relations:
Develop PR plan and initiatives to improve public perception of company in Indonesia.
Develop media relations strategy, seeking good placement in print, broadcast and online media.
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts.
Build relationship with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
Manage special events in Jakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Bandung, and other cities where company operates to in Indonesia.
Manage media inquiries and interview request.
Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Manage and suggest activities related to corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
Manage the relationship and service level of our PR agency.
