Together with YKAN and Yayasan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia (KEHATI), we will collaborate in the implementation of the USAID Konservasi Laut Efektif (USAID Kolektif) to effectively protect Indonesia's marine biodiversity through improving existing Marine Protected Area (MPA) management, functions, and benefits.

We're looking for someone who is passionate in conservation, with experience in protection of Indonesia's marine biodiversity. This position oversees all aspects of MPA Management within Kolektif Project to achieve Kolektif main objectives including development of zoning and management plan, implementation of Management Plan, monitoring, compliance, and surveillance system, development of SOPs, and ETP protection and management.
The MPA Management Technical Lead will be based in Jakarta with frequent travel to Kolektif target areas. This position will report to the YKAN Kolektif Project Team Leader.
**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:
- BA/BS degree in natural resources management, conservation, business, law or another related field of study and 3 years of related work experience in conservation, MPA management, fundraising or other related experience.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and timelines.
- Experience negotiating complex agreements.
- Experience developing partnerships (partners, community, government).
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience working with computers, including database management.
- Experience working with partner's/government agencies without violating any restrictions related to conflicts of interest, lobbying former employers, or influencing decision makers.
- Fluency in English, oral and written.
