Job Description
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure.
- Oversee the timely design, deployment and maintenance of network equipment.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for network configuration, security and performance.
- Implement network monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve network issues.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for network incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and mínimal impact to customers.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major network incidents and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches and other network threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of network related products and services.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost effective solutions and high quality service.
- Develop and manage the network operations and capital budget ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost optimization.
- Identify and recommend network infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning and technology enhancements to support business growth.
Requirement
- At least 15 years of experience in management of telecommunications networks and/or services.
- Extensive technical experience applicable to supporting operational decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical or communications engineering, computer science.
- Minimum 10 years organizational and management experience and skills to lead large group of technical professionals
