**Job Roles and Responsibilities**:
- The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and 18001 standards, implementing quality control measures, managing inventory efficiently, and possessing knowledge of machining processes. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to optimize operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure safety compliance.
- **Responsibilities**:
**See Day to Day Operations** - Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. Address operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with department heads to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency. Coordinate with the team to ensure effective marketing of oil field equipment in SEA countries.
- **ISO 9001 and 18001 Compliance** - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 18001 standards. Develop and maintain systems to monitor and improve adherence to quality and safety management systems. Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- **Quality Control** - Develop and maintain quality metrics to track and improve overall product quality.
- **Inventory Management** - Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels. Monitor and analyze inventory data to prevent shortages and excesses. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective replenishment.
- **Knowledge of Machining** - Utilize expertise in machining processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency. Stay updated on advancements in machining technology and recommend improvements accordingly.
- **Team Leadership** - Lead and inspire a diverse team, providing guidance and support. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- **Cost Management**
**- **Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining quality standards. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient processes.
**Skills and Key Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and 18001 standards.
- Familiarity with machining processes and technologies.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and inventory management.
