**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As Partner Technical Specialist - Security, you will improve how IBM engages with the business partner and developer community, like the following:
- Responsible for influencing the partner's technical strategy toward IBM's Technology, this case security technology
- Works to incorporate and embed IBM Security technology into the partner's reference architectures, practices, and solutions
- Coordinates IBM Security technical expertise to identify, design, and implement valued client and partner centric solutions
- Increase partner technical capabilities to demonstrate and deploying IBM Security technology at scale with partner firms' sales and technical seller
- Be a technical expert.
Depth of technical skills in the IBM Security portfolio to support our partner's Sell / Build / Service opportunities, continuously expands essential business, industry, technology, architecture, and competitive knowledge in security.
- Solution co-creation.Earn trust and influence partner's technology agenda with a reputation of deep industry knowledge for the IBM Security portfolio, facilitates pre-sales technical activities, e.g., joint proof of technology and demonstration between partners and IBM, leads delivery of partner joint-learning activities to build technical skills and expertise of partners to enable co-sell motions, coordinates with Customer Success Managers (CSM) to drive post-sale technical adoption and deployment
- Strategic innovation.
Champions an entrepreneurial mindset and technical eminence to deliver unique value by leveraging industry and IBM Security expertise to drive innovations to accelerate partners' success as a strategic technical advisor
**Required Professional and Technical Expertise**:
- At least 3 - 5 years hands on experience and track record in a Technical Sales or Delivery role
- Experience in Cyber Security solutions and methodologies which may include Zero Trust, EDR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, Data Protection, Identity & Access Management Cloud Security.
- Experience in technical solution design and architectures.
- Top-notch communication skills, including writing and speaking to large audiences and explaining/simplifying complex technologies to non-technical people.
- Eagerness to teach, mentor, and coach the Business Partner's team and Developers Community during the journey of creating the solution using IBM products and technologies.
