**Summary Positions**:
A pricing analyst is responsible for determining the ideal target price for products of the business to analyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations.
Pricing analysts work with complex data sets to help businesses determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.
Pricing analysts are also responsible to analyze current processes, practices, and procedures.
**Area of Responsibility**
- Prepare the business performance report on a weekly and monthly basis, with detailed commentary around commercial implications to help the management board make a strategic decision
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends
- Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services
- Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
- Identify marketing strategies to increase profits
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
- Develop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models
- Support the business to deliver better value and great efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes.
**Positions Requirement**:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree of Economics/ Finance/ Statistics/ Mathematics/ Engineering
- Have 1-4 years of working experience
- Experience using business intelligence tools
- Strong financial/numerical skills
- Analytical skills with a focus on providing forward-looking insight and value-added analysis
- Have strong investigative skills to ensure they have all of the information they need to form accurate conclusions
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the business environment (the telecommunication industry is a plus) and the ability to learn complex concepts and organizations via self-directed investigation
- Excellent command of Excel (Pivot Table, Developer), and PowerPoint
