PATH has been working to support the advancement of health equity in Indonesia through technical partnerships since the 1980s. Our current portfolio in Indonesia includes work to support healthcare providers and communities in preventing and responding to communicable and non-communicable diseases, advance digital health innovation, and address global health security priorities.
PATH is seeking a Project Assistant based in Jakarta who will support the coordination and implementation of the "PHC Transformation Cadre Integration Project". Key responsibilities include:
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively support the coordination and integration of all project activities in overall implementation in close coordination with the Project Coordinator and other project staff at district and national level.- Provide general administrative support to projects as assigned. Tasks include but are not limited to: correspondence for internal and external parties, scheduling and organizing project-related events, workshops, and meetings- Responsible for project knowledge management, including maintaining project filing systems on Box, SharePoint, and/or other file-sharing systems.- Compile required documentation from district staff for national level updates and donor reporting.- Provide written translation of project-related memos, technical documents, presentations, and other significant project materials from English to Bahasa Indonesia and vice versa to support project communication between Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders.- Provide oral translation / interpreting services to support internal and external meetings, as needed.- Coordinate travel logistics for project staff (if needed).- Assist the Project Coordinator with other programmatic and administrative duties as required for successful implementation of program activities.
Required Experiences and Skills:
- Experience providing coordination support for public health programming in Indonesia, experience in PHC programming is an advantage- Experience working with a range of PHC stakeholders in Indonesia, including local partners, donors, and government.- Demonstrated ability to work with efficiency and diplomacy, as part of a team effort.- Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities with keen attention to detail.- Good active listening skills.- Positive attitude and personality.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)- English language fluency required- Bahasa Indonesian language fluency required- Ability to travel domestically, as needed
