Job Description
As a Project Controls Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the project control activities for various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your role will involve coordinating with project teams, monitoring project progress, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes.
The position is on a 1-year Contract Basis with possible extension and / or conversion to full time employment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project control processes, procedures, and systems to effectively manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.- Establish project baselines for scope, schedule, and budget, and regularly monitor and report on project performance against these baselines.- Identify potential risks, issues, and deviations from project plans, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.- Monitor project expenditures, track project costs, and analyze cost variances to ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify opportunities for cost savings.- Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and milestone tracking, to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.- Prepare regular project status reports, progress updates, and performance dashboards for project stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory agencies.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.- Proven experience (10+ years) in project control, project management, or related roles in the energy industry. Experience in EPC Company will be a plus.- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, and tools, including project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.- Familiarity with energy industry practices, processes.- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and analyze complex project data and performance metrics.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders.- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
