Senior Manager, Apac Supply Chain Communications

The Senior Manager for APAC Supply Chain Communications is responsible for developing and implementing a coordinated communications and engagement plan for 21 manufacturing facilities across the region, impacting over 4000 employees who represent 50% of our total employee population for K-C APAC.

The position reports to APAC Senior Director for Communications and Government Affairs and is a member of both the APAC Supply Chain Leadership Team and the APAC Communications Leadership Team.

This is a fixed term contract with an initial duration of 12 months, with an option to extend for another 6 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Leads development and execution of a coordinated communications and engagement plan for Frontline teams based in various manufacturing sites (mills) across the region.
- Serves as a central content creator for common topics and initiatives across all mills.
- Works with local mill teams to organize events, develop collaterals, plan initiatives and other activities to improve frontline engagement.
- Serves as a node in the feedback loop between various mills, helping to socialize best practices and approaches.
- Oversees corporate identity and branding, including guidelines and governance of assets, across all touchpoints.
- Provides ongoing communications counsel and guidance to Mill Managers on a variety of issues.
- Develop toolkits and playbooks, including design templates, message tracks and trainings, and plug-and-play programs.
- Provides strategic counsel and ongoing support to the APAC SC VP on all communications needs including townhall presentations.
- Issues and Crisis Management_
- Serves as key advisor in managing issues and crises involving supply chain and manufacturing sites.
- Partner with market and mill leadership on effective issues and crisis management, ensuring crisis playbooks are regularly updated in coordination of enterprise business partners.
- Support for Regional SC Communications_
- Provide communications support for APAC VP Supply Chain to enhance executive communications to frontline employees, including leading townhall events and market visits.
- Work to discover and tell stories about SC successes across key functional priorities.
- Partner with a broad set of stakeholders to elevate SC recognition programs for mills and frontline employees, and lead all associated processes including award submissions.
- Leadership Roles_
- Serves on the APAC Communications Leadership Team
- Serves on the APAC Supply Chain Leadership Team
- Team Management_
- Individual contributor, with some support from external agency resources
- Duties performed in collaboration with multi-functional team resources across various facilities.
- Lead and coordinate a community of practice involving in-market communications and SC resources.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
- 10+ years of experience working with a large, global organization in corporate communications, with an emphasis on internal communications and employee engagement.
- 10+ years of experience in developing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Prior experience in content development (both written and audio-visual)
- 3-5 years of experience in Senior Levels Communications providing strategic support
- 8-10 years of broad business experience, demonstrating leadership and strong grasp of product, manufacturing, sourcing, marketing, finance, and sales functions

**SKILLS**
- Demonstrated ability to work with C senior leaders on communications strategy.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- A track record of implementing communications programs for a large and distributed workforce
- Strong partnership/collaboration across teams/functions in large organizations
- Strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience measuring progress toward achieving stated objectives, leadership communication effectiveness, and other content and channel effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong experience in people management, including developing/maintaining high-performing teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and platforms like Canva.

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree desired
