Senior Sales Manager - MICE

**Summary**:
To develop market segment (s) and solicitation of new customer relationships and accounts while maintaining existing relationships with current accounts while consistently striving to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation of guest room and meeting space rentals, and prices as well as food and beverage services. This position is accountable for booking individual and/or group business on an established base of the top producing key accounts and for managing/converting high potential key prospects.

**Responsibilities/Scope**:
Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area which may include any combination of the following tasks:

- Achieve and/or exceed the revenue targeted for the assigned accounts
- Presents a summary of his/her visits to the Sales Supervisor on a weekly basis (Weekly Sales Plan) prior and after the week are completed.
- Organizes regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.
- Write proposal and/or contract to advise prospective groups for meeting space and/or banquet date, space and rate availability for group accommodations for moderately complex meetings.
- Responsibly represent the hotel through conducting conferences, making proposals and other external sales presentation to prospective customer to solicit, explain, negotiate and close hotel sales. Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts and commit company with customers and establish agreements with vendors.
- Travel and engage in sales activities outside of the hotel to meet with and entertain customers and prospective customers, participate in tradeshows, industry and community events to promote hotel, maintain contacts and close the deal.
- Attend daily, weekly and monthly meeting to support business operations.
- Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customer, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities and any other hotel facilities.
- Prepare monthly sales action plan with the strategy in order to achieve the set target based on the specific account.
- Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references.
- Records the statistics, analyze of his/her sales accounts and submits production report on her/his sales accounts on a monthly basis.
- Keeps himself/herself well informed about the operations especially in key departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Banqueting, etc.).
- Provides after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
- Doing market intelligence to all competitor and reporting to Director of Sales / Commercial Director
- Develop new account, maintain the existing client, reactive the sleeping account
- Reporting in daily basis, weekly basis and monthly basis
- Maintain a good working relationship with other department, employees and guests
- Complete all related training required, both online and offline / in class

- Able to lead by example.
