As a** Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer** **you will work closely with our existing team to deliver the excellent work as focus in your career journey with Worley

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual designs for subsea pipeline systems, considering factors such as seabed conditions, geotechnical data, flow assurance, and pipeline routing
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis to determine pipeline specifications, wall thickness, stress analysis, and fatigue life
- Collaborate with structural engineers and offshore installation teams to ensure seamless integration of subsea pipelines with other offshore infrastructure
- Select and specify appropriate materials, coatings, and corrosion protection systems for subsea pipelines
- Carry out assigned discipline engineering activities within the team. Supervise and assist engineers and designers as required with their tasks.
- Manage assigned work to meet project needs. Proactively work with other team members to ensure Project goals are met.
- Ensure technical integrity of work, consistency of work quality and that all work is carried out in accordance with Worley and customer requirements and applicable codes and standards, procedures and the basis of design.
- Ensure that adequate engineering check, review and approval have been performed at an agreed stage and schedule and to be done by competent and qualify resources

**About You**:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess a combination of work experience, skills and or qualifications in the following areas:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years engineering experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Extensive experience in pipeline engineering, with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects.
- Design techniques and methodologies in Pipeline Engineering including but not limited to Wall Thickness calculation, On-Bottom Stability, Free Span Analysis, Pipeline Expansion, Bottom Roughness Assessment, Upheaval/Lateral Buckling Analysis and Pipeline Crossing Analysis.
- Relevant International Standards and Codes of Practice normally used in Oil and Gas industries including, but not limited to API, ASME, BS, ISO and DNV GL.
- Proficiency in pipeline design software and tools (e.g., Abaqus, AutoPIPE, OrcaFlex, Caesar II, FEA)
- Installation of onshore, near-shore and offshore pipelines and risers including installation analysis with pipeline installation software (i.e. OFFPIPE, PIPELAY)
- Strong understanding of subsea construction and installation techniques, including trenching, pipelaying, and subsea equipment deployment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in subsea pipeline operations.
