**Job Summary**:
The VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving our company's sales strategy to achieve the sales target. Leading a dynamic sales team of 5 strategic business units, the VP will ensure optimal performance, spearhead business development efforts, and maintain effective client management to enhance profitability and achieve minimum net profit. This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed the company sales target. Cultivate a culture of ambition and success within the sales team, focusing on market expansion and product penetration.
- Day-to-Day Team Management: Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring that all members, across the 5 strategic business units, are aligned with the company's sales objectives. Regularly conduct team meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and motivate the team towards achieving their individual and collective targets.
- Performance Management & Target Monitoring: Implement a robust system for tracking and evaluating team performance against key sales targets and KPIs. Utilize real-time data to adjust sales tactics and strategies, ensuring the team remains on track to meet or exceed their goals. Provide immediate feedback and support to address performance gaps.
- Regular Reporting & Analysis: Provide comprehensive sales reports and analyses to the Chief Commercial Officer, highlighting team performance, market trends, and sales forecast adjustments.
- Profitability & Revenue Growth: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic pricing to enhance profitability, with a steadfast aim of maintaining net profit margin.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, product development, and customer service departments to ensure a unified approach to achieving sales targets, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Business Unit Support: Engage with the leaders of the 5 strategic business units to ensure the sales strategies are effectively customized and implemented, maximizing cross-selling and upselling opportunities across all units.

**Experience**: Minimum of 10 years in sales leadership roles within the technology or related B2B sectors, with a proven track record of achieving significant sales targets. Experience managing a large, diverse sales team and working across multiple business units.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Proficient in sales management software and CRM systems.
- Attributes: Results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering an environment of accountability and excellence.
