The Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing the account to grow sales and profitability according to objectives, by establishing dsm-firmenich as the clients' key partner, winning projects, and selling profitably flavors. This function will be reporting to the Commercial Manager, Taste who is based in Indonesia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop successful working relationship with new and existing clients.
- Identify business opportunities, decision factors and success criterias, and define action plan accordingly.
- Establish Firmenich as clients' key partner by managing successfully all client interactions, and get all possible clients' briefs.
- Negotiate with clients favorable commercial terms including payment terms, prices and price conditions, order pattern etc
- Get clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects; brief creation and development teams
- Anticipate clients' needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities
- Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines, and enter properly all project

**You bring**:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or MS degree in Chemistry, Food Science from an accredited university required
- A minimum of 3 years of flavors or food ingredients sales experience.
- Good business understanding of both Firmenich and clients' businesses, sales role and objectives
- Ability to develop successfully client relationship and to position Firmenich as a key business partner
- Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors
- Sales and Negotiation skills
- Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for taste
- Excellent communication and team building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Skilled at working in a fast paced environment open to constant change in demands
- Self-directed individual with a Can-Do attitude and the ability to work within a team
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP ERP systems and analytical skills (MS Excel)
