Overview
**Chief of Party, Act to End East, Indonesia**

RTI's Global Health Division currently has a staff of over 400 and works in over 25 countries. GHD implements broad-based programs in infectious diseases -specifically NTDs, HIV, and Malaria; Integrated Health; and Health Systems Strengthening.

The division is currently looking for a Chief of Party (COP) to provide senior technical and managerial leadership and oversight on all aspects of RTI's NTD activities in Indonesia. This currently includes the USAID Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East program (2018-2026), and extensive technical support to Indonesia's Ministry of Health (MOH).

The COP is primarily responsible for providing high-level support to the MOH in its implementation of NTD activities in line with the Minister of Health's Decree on Filariasis Elimination (the government's guiding strategic document). The Chief of Party will be responsible for all oversight of RTI's NTD programs in Indonesia, including annual work planning and budgeting; semiannual programmatic reporting; monthly, quarterly, and annual government reporting; and management of a 10-person team. The Chief of Party will lead technical, operations, and health systems strengthening initiatives to ensure the highest quality NTD programming. The Chief of Party will also ensure effective project and financial management including the submission of program deliverables and contractual obligations on a timely basis. The Chief of Party will coordinate with RTI's consortium partners, USAID offices, and the World Health Organization. The Chief of Party will coordinate closely with the RTI Headquarters and Regional Office teams to ensure compliance. The Chief of Party will also coordinate with other NTD partners in country.

- Manage the Act | East Indonesia team, a diverse team with technical and operations skill sets. Ensure the team produces high quality work in line with project objectives and deliverables. Support the team to work effectively while implementing community-based activities. Encourage the continued professional development of the team members.
- Manage all RTI activities in support of the Indonesia government's LF elimination and control activities, ensuring strong relationships and partnerships.
- Represent the RTI office to the Indonesian Government which includes completing all criteria required by the government for a registered NGO in the country. It also includes meeting RTI International's obligations outside of specific projects (leading new business development efforts, coordinating legal matters with HQ, acting as bank signatory, etc.).
- Work in partnership with the MOH, development and implementing partners, Act | East consortium partners, and RTI's NTD HQ team in developing annual work plans, monitoring implementation of activities, tracking progress toward targets and deliverables, identifying issues that need to be addressed, and ensuring that technical and financial reporting requirements are met.
- Oversee and support the Act | East Indonesia technical team in their objectives, which include:

- Supporting the MOH and regional and district authorities to implement project activities, ensuring that all activities are implemented in accordance with work plans, budgets, and globally established technical guidelines.
- Supporting the Indonesia MOH in the coordination of stakeholders to avoid overlap and to maximize the use of limited resources,
- Empowering the national NTD program to conduct strong field supervision and monitoring for all field activities.
- Ensuring the documentation of project accomplishments and innovation in blogs, peer-reviewed journals, and other media.
- Oversee and support the Act | East Indonesia operations team and monitor project activities and spending to ensure proper activity planning and procurements that meet USAID financial and management reporting guidelines.
- Serve as a key liaison between RTI headquarters, the Indonesia MOH, USAID/Indonesia mission, Act | East consortium partners, project partners, and other national and international donors, including pharmaceutical donation programs, and organizations involved in NTD control and elimination activities in Indonesia.
- Provide regular updates to the RTI US-based HQ NTD team on all project activities.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality RTI NTD project deliverables for submission to donors.
- Develop and manage mechanisms for coordination and collaboration with other partners.
- Facilitate a culture of learning and using data for planning and adapting program strategy and activities.
- Support high-profile visits to Indonesia from NTD stakeholders, ensuring good representation of RTI's NTD work.
- Liaise with donors to ensure communication on NTD activities and explore potential synergies with other projects in the country.
