The role will primarily be tasked with performing data analysis for the internal projects teams, helping to collect, review and present information to understand trends and identifying more efficient ways of operation.
Business Analyst will act as an intermediary between business stakeholders and IT departments, monitoring, collecting and deciphering information, often using data analysis and modeling methods, for internal projects. The Business Analyst will assist WTW CRB Asia in making well-informed decisions and executing modifications to our operations that support our strategic objectives.
**The Role**
- Reporting to the Lead Project Manager and part of the internal projects team to the regional Corporate Risk and Broking executive committee
- Review of data prepared by the business, of both quantitative and qualitative nature. Identifying trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making and align with business goals
- Help design, document and maintain system processes
- Produce monthly reports for monitoring certain processes
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the wider team. They may be involved in testing and quality assurance to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and function correctly
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the stakeholders
- Control and review of employee timesheet data recorded to analyse client profitability
- Ad hoc analysis of various data sets generated by the business
- Preparation of internal management information using Powerpoint, Power BI dashboards and excel models
- Contribute to a high performance culture within the business by consistently setting high standards of personal conduct and ensuring flawless delivery and consistently excellent performance
- Managing personal workload by keeping Project Manager up to date on their pipeline and timelines for project completion
**The Requirements**
- Min. 1-2 years experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
- High proficiency in Microsoft apps (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and business intelligence tools (MS Access, PowerBI dashboards). Knowledge of MS PowerApps would be beneficial
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
- Self-disciplined and motivated professional
