Director Of Business - Tug & Barges

**About the Company**:
Our client is a prominent shipping company in Indonesia with a diverse portfolio and a strong foothold in the transshipment of commodity space. With a strong pipeline and multiple projects dotted across, they continue to capture greater market share.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct the activities of all functions involved in ports, barge, and shipping operations in order to further develop the commercial business
- To develop and maintain existing and new clienteles within the energy, mining, and the industrial industries
- Ensure operations run smoothly, maintain a high degree of integrity at all times and in all circumstances
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire department.
- Develop and manage quarterly and yearly departmental budgets

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 7-10 years' experience in a shipping company with a focus on tug & barges and bulk business services
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field from reputable University. Master's degree is advantageous.
- Proven success in commercial roles within transshipment industry - able to innovate with new ideas to achieve more revenue and profitability
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- A real go-getter, strong resilience and Hard worker
