Lead, supervise, and train the Operational Risk & Anti Fraud unit to ensure they effectively manage the risk management framework especially in Hijra Bank.
Provide guidance and training to promote risk control awareness, ownership, and accountability within Enterprise Risk unit.
Engage with internal stakeholders, including the executive management, compliance, financing risk, and PDA teams, as well as external parties such as risk vendors and regulators.
Regularly review SOP and RAC to improve risk mitigation and effectiveness.
Actively involved with PDA, Risk Infra, Financing Risk and Product team to empower risk systems and other tools that help risk mitigation.
Excellent in writing / revise policies and guidelines and maintaining a Risk Register, Appetite and Tolerance
Ensure that all business activities and processes comply with regulations and standards operation procedure.
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on the status of company key risk, risk oversight management committee, and risk incident to the senior management and stakeholder.
Min. Bachelor Degree in Economics/Finance/related fields.
Experienced in managing risk in the Banking industry at least 5 years minimum and a sharia background would be an advantage.
Having a good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management.
Understanding workflow implementation of KYC, AML and Anti-Fraud.
Experienced to establish Risk Control Self-assessment (RCSA), Control Assurance Program (CAP), Key Risk Indicator (KRI).
Excellent background in review and setup risk policy.
Having experience working with a small team and Capacity to lead and motivate others.
Robust interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to see and develop potential talent.
Exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to prioritize amidst various and sometimes conflicting priorities.
High attention to detail, self-driven, results-oriented and action-focused.
Able to think strategically. To possess the authority to monitor the performance of Risk Champions and Risk Owners.
