- Play and act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior clients across cluster.
- Provide transformational leadership capabilities and have deep "HR Business Partner" experience in global organization. A successful change agent: effectively aligning and influencing stakeholders, be inspirational communicators, be able to build commitment, and be tolerant of ambiguity.
- Understand business strategies and align and drive people strategy and programs in partnership with the business to achieve the business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor and in partnership with the senior leadership team members in Indonesia and regional office on organizational structure and effectiveness; succession planning and key/critical role within cluster, leadership, diversity, and helping AIG attract, motivate and retain talent.
- Provide expert advice and support on a range of HR issues such as reward, talent acquisition and development, performance, organization development/change, culture and engagement and employee relations.
- Partner with business managers to identify Learning and Development needs of their employees and determine appropriate development approach enabling employees to acquire technical/non-technical skills and levels of behavioral competence to meet their objectives and fully give to business success.
- Provide consultation and mentoring to business managers in their management of performance and or employee relations issues, including disciplinary, investigation and grievance processes.
- To support business managers during the Performance Management process with goal setting and giving feedback.
- Works with leadership team members during annual Compensation Planning time to ensure alignment of rewards to performance.
- Partner the COEs in region and globally to engage them on Organization plan for client's organization to enable a more holistic HR support and better business outcomes.
- Actively use data and metrics to drive client engagement and drive accountability for outcomes both with client and the HR organization.
- Work in complex, matrixed environments; build relationships across levels and cultures and have the ability to effectively influence and coach senior executives.
- Drive and support employee inclusion and diversity efforts, as well as play an active role in ERGs.
- Ensure HR governance and practices are in compliance with the prevailing law and AIG code of conduct, policies and manage risk for sustainable long-term growth.
- What we're looking for:
- Proven track of record of HR generalist experience with in-depth knowledge of HR management practices including strategic business partnering, organizational effectiveness/development, performance management, rewards, talent management & development, HR operation management, employee engagement and employment law.
- Able to build strong working relationships and establish effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate effective and impactful communication.
- Experience in insurance or financial services industry with global organization preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the presence and ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of staff.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
