Ecolab is seeking a **Key Account Manager** to help grow our Institutional business, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries.
Customers include restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more.
You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

**What You Will Do**:
- Increase Ecolab Institutional market share.
Target markets will include, but are not limited to - Health and Aged Care (public and private), Hospitality (Hotel/Motels), Government facilities (Armed forces), Private Schools, Local Government, FSR (chain business), Restaurants
- Achieve new business sales targets established as part of the budgeting process.
- Ensure growth via new business is profitable by working to strict pricing guidelines
- Conduct technical surveys to ensure a targeted Ecolab program
- Prepare and present presentations to convey the Ecolab value proposition and secure new business
- Construct basic customer rollout plans to ensure the customer and field team clearly understand the expectation
- Work with the field team and act as the one voice of Ecolab during prospecting, proposals and presentations
- Manage the relationship transition to the Regional/State sales team or Corporate Accounts
- Participate in trainings involving a combination of classroom and on the job assessments
- Build and foster industry contacts via networking, trade shows, functions and equipment suppliers
- Work in collaboration with Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers and Regional/State Managers to achieve the desired sales outcome.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of outside sales experience
- Willing to be on call during off hours and weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Previous sales development experience within the Institutional market sectors
Results-orientated and possess a strong track record in a business to business selling role
- Be accustomed to growing the business by negotiating and winning new business at the executive level
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Possess exceptional negotiation skills and a passion to deliver and exceed client expectations
