Job Summary- To perform clerical tasks of moderate to high complexity for Life underwriters and Life underwriting support staff.- Job Qualifications- Required:
- Minimum S.Ked
- Experience with Medical Underwriting
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities- Organize data and accesses systems to retrieve, input or revise data as directed.
- Process routine and non-routine transactions.
- Interpret and validate producer information.
- Create and process a variety of policy documents and Underwriting correspondence.
- Process work with attention to timeliness, productivity and quality.
- Follow procedures to ensure adherence to the company´s risk and compliance policies.
- Perform clerical services for underwriters and underwriting support staff in the processing of all transactions, using established procedures and required software.
- Provide feedback relating to the quality and efficiency of processes and systems.
- Liaise with internal and external clients in order to exchange information, clarify facts, and resolve queries and/or problems.
- Effectively utilize work management tools.
